Stacey Price – Tax Agent

An accountant, but not as you know it! With a lifelong love of numbers, Stacey brings over 22 years of experience in the industry to you and your business. Taking the jargon out of complex financial information, she speaks in “small business” and specialises in taking on all the functions of finance, accounting, training and tax for you.  

A non-stop learner and embracer of new technology, Stacey, smashes the traditional stuffy accountant stereotype. She road tests all the new tech, apps and programs, so you don’t have to, and because she loves it. A true innovator, she will streamline processes and be your trusted and invaluable skipper, guiding you towards setting and reaching your financial goals.

When she’s not cheerleading for your business, Stacey is on the sidelines cheering on her sons in whatever favourite sport they are playing, watching her beloved Hawthorn in the AFL (don’t hold that against her) or heading to her local hot gym to sweat out her chocolate addiction.



Christine Barnett

Christine Barnett – Bookkeeper

Christine loves to be organised and holds the reins on a strict household budget so bookkeeping allows these personality traits to work in your favour. Qualified as a bookkeeper since 2015, Christine has over 12 years of experience working across various business aspects from reception, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll to purchasing.

Certified in MYOB, XERO, and QBO, Christine specialises in taking care of the books for legal clients and other professional service business owners. As a result of her background she knows the ins and outs of small business and understands all the pieces of the puzzle.

Raising her two kids in country Victoria, Christine is a netty fan, gets her cardio from shopping, and her ab workout from a good laugh at a great comedy. Swimming and water-skiing (although after a broken leg on Christmas day in 2021 in a freak water accident, all water sports are now on hold) are her favourites and watching F1 racing is also high on the list. Who doesn’t love Drive to Survive??


Kylie Prattley

Kylie Prattley – Office Manager

All round ATO Ninja

Kylie has been managing the Healthy Business Finances office and keeping Stacey and the team sane since February 2020. This administration guru has the inside track on all things ATO, and has superpowers in compliance, lodgements, and payment plans. 

All the ducks relating to documents, presentations and processes, are well and truly in a row as a result of Kylie’s superior organising skills. She is also the road tester for any apps and tech that Stacey wants to investigate, determining suitability and usability for client needs and HBF.

Kylie, a mother and a country girl, loves living and spending time on her Maffra property with her family and two dogs.



Karen Polkinghorne

Karen Polkinghorne – Bookkeeper

Work wife to many clients

Karen has been a valued member of the Healthy Business Finances team since November 2017. She brings with her extensive and insider knowledge of small business finances – she has been doing the books and all things admin for her family business for over 10 years. Karen is also a qualified Visual Merchandiser and has extensive experience in the events industry – to say this girl can work under pressure is an understatement!

Building close client relationships is an accomplished skill of Karen’s as is her specialty with e-commerce clients. She is savvy with Xero and Quickbooks Online and works seamlessly across both of these client bases.

Karen is doing the family work life juggle and has two energiser bunnies to wrangle, but still tries to carve out time for herself so she can hit the gym. She loves to water-ski (with her sister Christine – yes they both work here) and spending time with her family. Tuning into her creative side and planning parties and events is another love. That’s right everyone – party at Karen’s!!!!



Tamara Vincent-Smith

Tamara Vincent-Smith – Bookkeeper

Soon to be accountant

Tamara comes to Healthy Business finances with an expansive range of transferable skills, qualifications and experience across varied industries. She has worked as a Travel Agent and as a Cabin Crew Supervisor and holds a Diploma of Human Resources Management and a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping just to name a few. 

It was her love of numbers and organisation that drew her to bookkeeping, and ultimately to accountancy. Tamara is currently completing a Diploma of Accounting. Being this busy calls for elite time management skills – she has these in spades! Specialising in clients in the construction and professional services industries, Tamara has credentials in Xero, Quickbooks Online and Keypay.

Weekends are a time for flexing her green thumb and relaxing in her well-tended garden with her 2 daughters. This Perth born girl loves the warmer weather and lives sustainably through her enjoyment of sewing and growing her own food. She is also dreaming of her next holiday where a pina colada and a hammock play leading roles.



Melissa Budge

Melissa Budge – Bookkeeper

Sunshine state warrior

Queensland-based, Melissa, turned lemons into lemonade by pivoting during the pandemic. Made redundant from her corporate gig in travel she took the opportunity to add to her skillset studying for a bookkeeping certificate. This was initially to keep her partner’s building/construction business in line, and she has also now taken up the opportunity in a position at Healthy Business Finances.

Melissa has resilience and problem-solving skills. She loves to balance the books and gets satisfaction from working out those niggly problems when they don’t. That 2c rounding…she will find it and fix it.

A lover of reality TV (come on admit it, aren’t we all?) and turtlenecks (yes, in Queensland), she enjoys a glass of good wine, more than the odd square of chocolate, and early morning runs/gym session (to balance the wine and choccy). She’s a big fan of live music and gets to venues when she can, and super happy that touring is now back on the agenda for a lot of artists.


Mel Floyd

Melinda Floyd – Marketing

Well travelled marketing superstar

Globe trotting Melinda has worked around the world in the finance, banking, NPF, agriculture and government sectors. She brings her 20+ years of corporate experience and a recently obtained Digital Marketing qualification to the Healthy Business Finances team.

Melinda contributes a fresh injection of knowledge and ideas to the Healthy Business team, and provides strategy support across the marketing function.

Out of office hours, she is passionate about personal growth and loves to attend all kinds of woo woo workshops.
