New Financial Year, New Branding, New Serivce – Financial Coaching

Every elite athlete has a great coach, startup business owners have mentors to understand their product and goals – but who has a coach to understand their financial information?

Not very many people, yet without a great understanding of your business financial position, your business is potentially doomed.
Most people have a tax accountant – and lets face it you speak with them once a year to lodge your tax return, scream a little when you get the invoice – and vow not to speak to them for another 12 months. Not much value there if you don’t speak with them.

I have been thinking about the direction of my business for the past few months and how it has evolved so much since its humble beginnings. My previous logo – of 4 joined rings – each depicting a different service, symbolised that I feel these services should not be used in isolation, but a great business making a successful profit, needs to cover all aspects of those services – Bookkeeping, Accounting, Analysis & Business Strategy.
However, as much as I loved the logo, I realised it was hard to read in printed matter – so what I thought clearly outlined my business – in fact did the opposite. Nobody knew what my real services were or what my business was.

That, combined with having more experience in understanding what clients have requested over the past 12 months,

I am now proud to offer a new service – that of Financial Coaching.

Some business owners are great at the marketing side of things, the website, the attraction of new clients, the networking – but ask them if their business is making a profit, or which areas of their business are making the best returns – and they really have no idea.

So after alot of thought, it was decided that 1 July was the right time to plan a rebrand.  Nothing like a numbers geek planning a rebrand around end of financial year !

So my new logo was formed – and designed to get people thinking above and beyond the bookkeeping and reporting – but to really sit down and assess just how financially healthy their business really is.

Some clients need is a little bit of guidance or coaching around their financial information – what to look for, when to look for it, how to do some calculations and assess what is working and what is not working.

This is far more than bookkeeping and accounting. Those two aspects of my business (whilst still existing) are further expanded on in the financial coaching arena. Really delving into what services my clients are offering and sometimes the harsh truth that some product lines just are never going to make them the money they first thought. This is not a total loss situation though and packaging these low margin items with other high margin items – might just be an answer. But clients simply don’t know this without a little help.

So I am please to offer from 1 July Financial Coaching as either a stand alone service, or combined with current accounting, reporting and bookkeeping services.

Contact me now for a no obligation discussion to see if you could benefit from a little bit of Financial Coaching to get your business on track.
